(I had to pull out my copy of LOTR and do research for this one, ha! It’s been a while since I’ve written this pair. The book timeline has been fiddled with a bit.)
The first time she saw him, he was Estel, still a boy in many ways, barely aware of his heritage and inheritance.
The second time she saw him, he was Beren, Elendil, an Elf-Lord of the West, and she knew that her destiny was intertwined with his.
The third time she saw him, he was Strider, the Dúnadan, a weathered warrior who wandered in search of his fate.
The fourth time she saw him, he was Elessar Telcontar, king of men, and he became her husband.
But he was always Aragorn, and he was always in her heart until the end of her days.
